Formula 1 Champ Pierre Gasly and Givenchy Parfums Team Up

Givenchy Parfums has announced that racing champ Pierre Gasly is the new ambassador for the Gentleman Givenchy male fragrance line, a multiyear collaboration that began with his new TV commercial directed by Romain Noury. Gasly is the first partner for the Gentleman Society fragrance, which will launch this year in a tie-in with the Codemasters Racing game, developed by Electronic Arts (EA website). In the spot, Gasly drives a vintage 1965 car in a playful encounter with the Givenchy muse on a deserted road.

“It’s like a second skin that says about you: ‘I want to be elegant and at the same time I don’t exclude daring to make an impression.” Givenchy hopes Gasly’s impressive achievements in the international sport of F1 and his “compelling and elegant aura” will complement the scents he’s representing.

“I am extremely proud to represent Gentleman Givenchy, a house whose values of elegance and audacity I greatly admire,” Gasly said. “I have always been fascinated by the link between fashion and performance, and I believe that style on and off the track is essential for success.”

Since joining Red Bull Racing in 2021, Gasly has enjoyed a string of achievements on the track, including his first F1 win in 2020 at the Tuscan Grand Prix, and two more wins in 2022. Nicknamed PFG Racing, his company has its own racing simulator and organization, and he recently teamed up with Taiwanese components and electronics manufacturer Wistron to help manufacture medical ventilators to assist hospitals in his native France during the COVID-19 pandemic.
