LVMH to Recruit 4,500 Workers at Flagship Event in Lyon

LVMH is putting artisans in the spotlight by organizing a tour that will stop in Lyon on February 19 and in Lille on February 26. The goal of this eighth tour is to “undertake a mini-tour with all the stakeholders of LVMH’s métiers d’excellence, from artisans to HR teams, a real opportunity for a direct exchange,” says Alexandre Boquel, coordinator of LVMH You & ME.

The LVMH You & ME tour is now in its 6th edition. The event aims to attract new talent. This year, the tour will make a stopover in Lyon on February 19 and in Lille on February 26. The theme of the tour is "Assembler les talents" (Bringing Talents Together), an orientation and recruitment event in creation, craftsmanship and customer experience.

Visitors will be able to see for themselves the professions that make up the LVMH ecosystem, with three pavilions simulating real workshops: leather goods, watchmaking and jewelry, and retail.

LVMH has organized the event into four distinct zones, each catering to specific job profiles: * New entrants: Ideal for young graduates or individuals seeking a career change. * Experienced candidates: Tailored to experienced professionals. * Artisanship: Features workshops and immersive experiences led by artisans.

LVMH says it will offer 12,000 trainee and apprentice positions per year by 2025, and 7,000 of those positions will be in France. The group is also committed to recruiting 10,000 people per year, and 85% of those recruits will stay in France.
