Chanel 2.55 Reissue Bag

The Chanel 2.55 handbag is a classic style introduced by the brand's founder, Coco Chanel, in February 1955. It is renowned for its unique flap design, rectangular lock (Mademoiselle Lock), and chain strap. In 2005, Chanel released the "Reissue" version to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the handbag's creation, staying completely true to the original design, bringing new life to this iconic style.

One of the most representative features of the 2.55 Reissue handbag is its rectangular lock, known as the "Mademoiselle Lock." The chain strap is another distinctive element of the 2.55, made entirely of metal without any leather weaving. The chain design was inspired by the chains used in the uniforms at the convent where Coco Chanel spent her childhood, adding a touch of vintage charm. The interior also includes a hidden pocket, which Coco Chanel used to store her private letters.
